Join us for an authentic and intimate adventure you’ll never forget!

In the Laurentians, 1 hour from Montréal and Mont-Tremblant, and 20 minutes from St-Sauveur come live a thrilling adventure at our excursion center, open since 1999. Assisted by professional guides, you will be taught how to drive your own sled or snowmobile to than ride over frozen lakes and through mountains. The magnificent scenery will blow you away. Bois Rond Expérience

Live the experience of wood craftsmen!

Come live a unique experience in our private park of 47 hectares, an exceptional natural environment where we preserve biodiversity. Participate in our guided activities that will introduce you to two of Canada's most important landmarks: log construction and beaver habitat. Visit buildings that tell the story of log construction, learn about woodworking with period tools, and take part in an interactive demonstration of traditional log construction.

Then let our guides introduce you to the beaver's unique habitat through hiking and canoeing. Our guides will pass on to you, with passion, their knowledge of this emblematic animal and the different forest environments that you will cross during this activity.

You can also take advantage of our network of 8 km of pedestrian trails and our picnic areas, to have a good time in a beautiful environment.

La ROUTE DE CHAMPLAIN is a social economy enterprise based in Montreal-North and founded in the summer of 2015 by stakeholders in the gas-free boating community. La Route de Champlain is the result of a citizen's desire to democratize access to the Rivière-des-Prairies and to make Montreal-North shine by exploiting its full outdoor potential.

In 2021, La Route de Champlain has broadened its scope and is now working to provide access to the riverbanks with water sports activities in several boroughs of the island of Montreal and municipalities of the Haut-Richelieu. During the 2021 summer season, La Route de Champlain operated 8 ecotourism sites for the summer and 2 in the winter.

In the summer, we offer guided sea kayak and rabaska outings, 100% electric boat rides as well as electric bicycle rentals. In the winter, we offer traditional snow scooter, ice skate and snowshoe rentals.

In addition to being a proud member of Aventure Écotourisme Québec, La Route de Champlain is a member of Trailblazer Canada.

Located along the corridor of Rivière-à-Mars, between Chicoutimi and Bas-Saguenay, the campsite enjoys an enchanting site in the heart of Ville de Saguenay. Offering 174 pitches, 80% of which are reserved for tourists, the campsite "Au Jardin de Mon Père" enjoys an excellent reputation among campers. The company has perfected its services by offering various packages in collaboration with tourism stakeholders to provide its customers, the most beautiful attractions, shows and landscapes of  " Saguenay le Fjord ".
